Captivate 🌿

Captivate is a producer and DJ based on ancestral Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh lands, pushing bass-forward sounds with deep roots in the past. Elements of 90s UK rave music, Jamaican sound system culture and ambient music are all prevalent in his releases, and in recent years leftfield techno has become a key influence on his sound. His DJ sets shapeshift between genres & tempos, instead focusing on mood & narrative. Captivate has shared his craft at renowned festivals such as Bass Coast & Shambhala, among countless other spaces across North America.
